How long do I have access?
Simulator access lasts 30 days from purchase. Access begins immediately upon successful payment and automatically expires at the end of that period. It is a one-time payment, we do NOT auto-renew or charge hidden fees.
Is this affiliated with ASE?
No. We are an independent, instructor-led training platform. ASE Collision Test Prep is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE). We use their official public task lists to build realistic, preparatory mock exams.
Does this guarantee I will pass the ASE Exam?
While no system can legally guarantee a passing score, our Prometric Simulator mirrors the timing, format, and trick questions found on the actual ASE exams. Consistently scoring 80% or higher on our simulated exams is a very strong indicator of real-world exam readiness.
Do you offer refunds if I don't pass?
Because our platform grants immediate access to proprietary digital content and thousands of instructor-vetted questions, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds if you fail your official exam, but our platform is specifically designed to drastically reduce that possibility.
Can I share my account with another technician?
No. Accounts are single-user only. Our adaptive algorithm relies on tracking your specific correct/incorrect ratios to generate targeted weakness drills. Sharing an account will corrupt this data, rendering the drills ineffective, and violates our Terms of Service.
Is there a discount for purchasing multiple modules?
Our Universal Access Plans grant you the ability to unlock specific modules. If you need access to all B-Series modules (B2 through B6) simultaneously, we recommend reaching out to us directly for a comprehensive Master bundle rate.
Do I need to buy textbooks alongside this platform?
While official OEM procedures and textbooks are always valuable, our platform provides comprehensive explanations for every incorrect answer and detailed digital flashcards. Most technicians find our platform sufficient for passing without the need for expensive additional textbooks.
Can I purchase access for just one specific exam?
Yes. You only unlock the specific test (e.g., B3 Non-Structural Analysis) you are currently studying for. This keeps your dashboard clean and ensures you aren't overwhelmed with material for exams you aren't ready to take yet.
Does the subscription auto-renew?
No. We despise hidden fees and forced auto-renewals just as much as you do. When your 30-day access period ends, the module simply locks. If you need more time, you can manually renew your access from your dashboard.
Do you offer payment plans?
Currently, we accept one-time payments via major credit/debit cards through our secure Stripe integration. Because our prices are heavily discounted compared to traditional textbook courses, we do not offer monthly installment plans.
Are there special rates for trade schools?
Yes. We actively partner with technical colleges and high school collision programs across the country. Instructors can contact us to set up bulk student licensing at heavily discounted educational rates.
How often are the test questions updated?
Our database is continuously audited by active collision repair professionals. We update our questions quarterly to ensure they align with the most recent ASE Content Specifications, including newer technologies like ADAS and EV systems.
Is my credit card information secure?
Absolutely. We do not process or store any of your credit card data on our servers. All transactions are securely routed through Stripe, one of the world's most trusted and heavily encrypted payment processors.

How do the Adaptive Weakness Drills work?
Every time you submit a full simulation, our algorithm logs the specific ASE task categories you missed. When you launch a Weakness Drill, the system pulls an intense practice exam heavily weighted toward your weakest categories to force rapid improvement.
Can I use this on my phone?
Yes. Our entire platform is engineered with a mobile-first approach. You can access the Prometric Simulators, Flashcards, and Adaptive Weakness Drills natively from your smartphone while in the shop, and seamlessly pick up where you left off on your desktop at home.
How do the digital flashcards work?
Our digital flashcards focus exclusively on high-yield industry terminology. Passing an ASE exam isn't just about multiple-choice logic; it requires a deep understanding of terms like "Betterment" and "Sway Damage." Our interactive cards help you rapidly memorize these critical definitions.
Does the simulator explain why an answer is wrong?
Yes. Unlike generic testing apps, every time you get a question wrong during a practice session, a detailed instructor breakdown appears. It explicitly explains why your choice was incorrect and clarifies the underlying concept so you don't make the same mistake twice.
Can I pause a practice test and come back later?
To mimic the strict timing of an official Prometric exam center, our full simulators run on a continuous countdown timer. If you close the window, the test will grade whatever you have completed up to that point. We recommend dedicating a solid 60-90 minutes before launching a full simulator.
Is there a limit to how many practice tests I can take?
No. During your active subscription period, you have unlimited access to generate as many practice tests, weakness drills, and flashcard sessions as you want. The more you test, the more accurate your pass probability score becomes.
Are the questions exactly the same as the real ASE test?
ASE strictly guards their exact testing questions, so no legitimate company can offer the exact test. However, our database of 1,250+ questions is written by industry experts to match the format, trick phrasing, and difficulty of the official exams.
Do you provide tracking or progress reports?
Yes. Your student dashboard features a live Pass Probability score. As you answer questions correctly across various subcategories, this score increases. Once your probability crosses 80%, you are statistically ready to book your real exam.
Is there an audio feature to listen to the questions?
Currently, our platform is purely text-based. Because the official Prometric ASE exams require you to read and interpret complex, multi-part questions under a time limit, practicing reading comprehension is a vital part of our training methodology.
Do you have a dark mode?
While our dashboard features high-contrast dark elements, the actual Prometric test simulator uses a bright, high-contrast white background. We enforce this exact color scheme so your eyes adjust to the exact screen brightness you will experience on test day.
Can I reset my statistics and start over?
Yes. If you feel your early testing attempts are dragging down your overall pass probability, you can clear your testing data from your Account Settings and start with a fresh slate.
Do you offer bilingual support (e.g., Spanish)?
At this time, all questions, flashcards, and explanations are exclusively in English. ASE does offer a Spanish translation glossary on their official exams, and we recommend students familiarize themselves with standard English technical terminology.

What should I do if the simulator freezes or won't load?
First, try clearing your browser cache or opening the website in an Incognito/Private window. If the problem persists, ensure you have a stable internet connection and turn off any restrictive VPNs that might be blocking our database connection.
How do I reset my password if I forget it?
You can easily reset your credentials by clicking the "Forgot Password" link on the Login page. An automated email will be sent to your registered email address with a secure link to create a new password instantly.
What web browsers are supported?
Our platform is optimized for all modern browsers. For the best experience and fastest loading times, we highly recommend using the latest versions of Google Chrome, Apple Safari, Microsoft Edge, or Mozilla Firefox.
Why aren't my test results saving to my dashboard?
If your Pass Probability isn't updating, you may have experienced an internet dropout just as you clicked Submit. Ensure you are on a stable connection. Also, make sure you are fully finishing the exam rather than closing the window early.
I didn't receive my password reset email. What do I do?
First, check your Spam or Junk folders, as automated security emails frequently get filtered. If it has been 10 minutes and you still haven't received it, ensure you typed the correct email address or contact our support team.
How do I update my email address?
You can update your email address securely from your dashboard. Scroll down to the Account Settings section, type in your new email, and click save. For security purposes, you may be prompted to log out and log back in before making the change.
Can I access the simulators offline?
No. Our platform requires an active internet connection to function. Because our adaptive algorithm constantly pulls questions from our cloud database and logs your telemetry in real-time, offline mode is not supported.
The video on the homepage isn't playing.
Certain mobile devices and browsers (like Safari on low-power mode) automatically pause background videos to save battery life. This is normal device behavior and does not affect your ability to log in or use the test simulators.
How do I cancel my account entirely?
If you wish to permanently delete your data, you can click the Delete Account button at the bottom of your dashboard. Be warned: this action is irreversible and will instantly terminate any active subscriptions without a refund.
I found a typo in a question. How do I report it?
We appreciate your sharp eye. Our database undergoes rigorous auditing, but if you spot an error, please reach out via our Contact Us page. Include the question text, and our instructors will review and patch it immediately.
Why does the site log me out automatically?
For your security, our system enforces a 30-minute inactivity timeout. If you leave your dashboard open on a shared computer in a shop environment, the system will automatically terminate your session to protect your account and payment data.
Is there a customer service phone number?
To keep our subscription prices as low as possible for students and technicians, we do not operate a massive call center. However, we provide rapid, detailed support via email through our Contact Us page.

Is my personal information and testing data secure?
Absolutely. We utilize Google Firebase's enterprise-grade infrastructure to securely encrypt all passwords and user data. We value your privacy and absolutely do not sell your personal information or test scores to third-party data brokers.
Do you offer enterprise accounts for collision centers?
Yes. Shop owners and managers looking to certify multiple technicians at once can contact us directly to set up bulk licensing and track their employees' progress through our master dashboard.
How are shop/enterprise accounts billed?
Enterprise accounts can be seamlessly managed through a unified corporate billing portal via Stripe. Shop managers can purchase bulk license codes or utilize a central credit card to deploy access to multiple technicians instantly.
Can a shop manager view their technicians' test scores?
Yes. When a technician is enrolled under an enterprise or shop license, the manager is granted access to a telemetry dashboard. This allows management to see exactly which techs are putting in the effort and where their weak points are.
How do I add or remove technicians from my enterprise account?
Enterprise administrators are provided with a dedicated portal link where they can easily revoke a license from a departing employee and issue a new access code to a recent hire without needing to contact support.
What happens to a technician's data if they leave our shop?
The technician's account and personal study data remain theirs. However, if their access was funded by your shop's enterprise plan, their paid subscription will terminate when you revoke their seat, and they will need to purchase a personal plan to continue.
Do you share student data with employers?
We strictly protect student data. We will NEVER share your test scores or pass probabilities with an employer unless your specific account was paid for and registered under their Enterprise License agreement.
Are you GDPR or CCPA compliant?
Yes. We strictly adhere to modern data privacy standards. You have complete control over your data. You can request a full export of your telemetry or initiate a hard-delete of your account and all associated records directly from your dashboard.
How is my payment data stored?
We do not process, see, or store your credit card data. Period. All transactions are securely vaulted and tokenized directly by Stripe, the industry leader in financial processing.
Can trade schools use enterprise accounts for students?
Absolutely. Technical colleges and vocational programs are our largest partners. We offer specialized educational pricing and instructor dashboards so educators can seamlessly integrate our weakness drills into their classroom curriculum.
Is two-factor authentication (2FA) available?
Currently, we rely on Google Firebase's secure password protocols and automated inactivity timeouts to protect accounts. Strict 2FA is on our roadmap for enterprise administrative accounts in a future update.
What is your fraud protection policy?
We actively monitor accounts for abusive behavior, such as a single account logging in from multiple geographic locations simultaneously. Accounts found to be commercially sharing access will be permanently banned without a refund to protect our intellectual property.
