ASE Pass Probability Calculator
Enter your practice-test accuracy and how many questions you've answered. We'll estimate your chance of passing the real ASE B-Series exam at Prometric.
How this works: ASE sets passing scores with the Modified Angoff method, so the exact cut line floats per test form (roughly 67% of scored questions). This calculator uses your practice accuracy, the number of questions you've answered (more answers = more confidence), and a built-in safety margin to estimate readiness. It is an estimate to guide your studying, not a guarantee of your official result.

How We Estimate Your Probability
Three things move the number, in plain English.
- Your accuracy vs. the cut line. ASE's passing line sits around 67% of scored questions. The further your practice accuracy is above that, the higher your odds. We bake in a small safety margin because test-day nerves, unfamiliar wording, and the Prometric clock typically shave a few points off your practice number.
- How many questions you've answered. A 90% from 30 questions is far less reliable than a 90% from 600. The more questions you've worked, the more confident the estimate, so a high score on a thin sample is intentionally pulled toward the middle.
- Our recommended target. We push you toward 80%+ on practice for certification (and 90%+ for recertification, which has no trial questions). Hit those consistently and you walk into Prometric with real margin.
